The use of a mask and hand sanitizer are mandatory throughout the event and are provided free of charge by Semmelweis University to the participants.
If you have a textile mask with the logo of our University, please bring it with you, thereby consciously reducing the waste of masks before a possible second wave.
In order to comply with general epidemiological regulations, the conference organizers will perform triage at the entrance, which will consist of completing a general questionnaire as well as a body temperature check.
Increased admission waiting times can be expected during the event, so please arrive on time.
It is obligatory to keep distance during the lectures, taking into account the general epidemiological observances on the spot.
The seats marked in green can be occupied in the lecture halls, please leave the red ones free.
The capacity of the rooms:
Hevesy lecture hall: 83 people
Békésy lecture hall: 83 people
Szent-Györgyi lecture hall: 160 people
Hári lecture hall: 40 people
Beznák lecture hall: 40 people
If a lecture hall is full during the plenary lectures or the opening ceremony, hostesses will help you to take your place in another lecture hall.
Presentations will be 10 minutes long followed by 5 minutes discussion.
Due to the large number of presentations at the event all authors are requested to send their slides in a Microsoft PowerPoint file to phd@kmcongress.com until Friday, 28 August as the latest to avoid delays due to slide uploads onsite.
Language
the language of the slides should be English,
the language of the presentation can be English or Hungarian, up to the choice of the presenter.

Registration will be open from 7:30 on 31 August, we request all participants to arrive early to avoid crowded registration.
Prizes and credits
The best oral/poster presentation of each session will be awarded, which will be handed over at the closing ceremony at 8 pm on Tuesday evening;
Those PhD students of Semmelweis University who take the conference as a PhD course will receive credit points as follows:
Poster size: max. A0 (841 mm by 1189 mm). Printed posters will be displayed on poster boards. Authors can mount their posters on the date of the given session during the registration period, and leave them on display until the end of the day. Mounting material will be available on site.
Oral presentations of your posters will take place in a „flash” format in 2 minutes with 1-3 slides. In addition, authors should be available at their posters during the poster viewing session.

The organizers continuously monitor the Covid-19 situation. If the epidemiological situation does not allow personal participation, we will change to Zoom to hold the Scientific Days.
